- The power socket should be installed on no less than two symmetrical walls. The horizontal distance between two power sockets on each wall should not exceed 2.5m~3m, and the distance from the end wall should not exceed 0.6m.
- Ordinary power sockets without special requirements should be installed 0.3m away from the ground. The washing machine's special socket is installed 1.6m away from the ground, and has an indicator light and a switch.
- For rooms with cable TV terminal boxes or computer sockets, at least two five-hole combined power sockets should be installed next to the cable TV terminal boxes or computer sockets.
- There are many household electrical appliances in the living room, and the design should arrange sockets according to the architectural decoration layout drawing, and it should be ensured that there are power sockets on each main wall. If the wall length exceeds 3.6m, the number of sockets should be increased. The length of the wall is less than 3m, and the power socket can be set in the middle of the wall. There is a power socket next to the cable TV terminal box and the computer socket, and there is a power socket for the air conditioner. The power socket with a switch should be used in the living room.
- The bedroom should ensure that the two main symmetrical walls are equipped with combined power sockets. When the bed end is against the wall, combined power sockets should be set on both sides of the bed. And there should be air conditioner power sockets. There should be two sets of combined power sockets next to the cable TV terminal box and the computer socket. Single bedrooms only have power outlets for computers.
- The kitchen should be equipped with multiple power sockets at different positions and heights. It can meet the needs of various electric cooking equipment.
